K.J Rao forces Marxist volte face

K. J Rao discovered fifty bogus voters in a single village!

Bogus voters do exist in Bengal, admits CPM (The Deccan Herald)

Mr Rao arrived here on Sunday, heading a 19-member EC observer team and is currently visiting Nadia district where a massive network of forged voter ID cards was unearthed.

Nearly 29 years into its rule, the ruling Left Front in West Bengal has conceded a fact which it has never accepted earlier — the electoral roll in the state does contain bogus voters.

“There are many a bogus voter in our state and we want their names to be deleted from the rolls,” the LF chairman and CPM politburo member Biman Bose told reporters here at the party headquarters on Monday.

The Marxist volta face comes in the wake of the Election Commission special observer of “Bihar fame” K J Rao deleting as many as 50 names from a single village in Nadia district during a surprise visit on Monday.
